Open Enrollment 2021 Ends Friday, April 30th!

This is the PSEB Collective where you will find all the latest information about our benefit offerings for the 2021 – 2022 plan year effective June 1st, 2021.  We invite you to look through these resources to fully understand what your benefits can do for you and how to make the best possible decisions for you and your family.

What’s new in our benefits at PSEB?

Summary of Changes

  • New Flexible Spending Account (FSA) administrator TRI-AD, beginning with the 6/1/2021 plan year
    • Navia will continue to administer claims for 6/1/2020 – 5/31/2021 plan year until 5/31/2022, as extended by Covid-19 relief legislation
  • No increase to associate contributions
  • No carrier changes for Medical, Dental and Vision plans
  • $0 copay for Teledoc visits with Aetna plans, including mental health and dermatology visits
  • Reduced copay for mental health visits and urgent care visits to $20 for Aetna PPO plan
  • Increased savings on specialty medication with PrudentRX with Aetna plans
  • Kaiser Medical plan:
    • Coverage extended to all associates in Southern California and Washington state
    • Decrease in associate contributions
    • Increase in deductible to $1,000 per individual / $2,000 per family
  • Enhanced vision benefit – coverage of anti-glare coating
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) open to all associates
  • Company-paid Long-Term Disability (LTD) coverage extended to all benefit-eligible associates
    • Collapsing Group 3 into Group 2
  • Voluntary LTD plan will no longer be offered

If you are not making changes, you don’t have to do anything and your benefits will continue as is – with the exception of Flexible Spending Health Care, Dependent Care and Commuter FSA plans, which do require an active enrollment each year.

New this year for FSA!  The Health Care FSA will have a carryover provision that allows participants to rollover up to $550 of unspent FSA money into future plan years.  In order to roll funds over to the next plan year, you must re-enroll in the plan the next plan year.

Passive Enrollment

A passive enrollment means that this year if associates have already enrolled in benefits the current benefits elections, with the exception of FSA plans, will all roll over into the next plan year.  Open enrollment is the one time of year for adjusting coverage to best fit your needs so please take this opportunity to ensure you understand all the updates that are taking place.

Here are your required action steps:
1. Watch the short videos above to learn what’s changing and what our benefits can do for you.
2. Learn about your benefits here on the PSEB Collective website to review full plan details and rates.
3. Enroll / Update / Review your benefit elections, contact information, and beneficiaries in UKG Pro.
4. Submit your enrollment by 8:59 pm PT on Friday, April 30, 2021.
